A Digi-Painting a Day?

I’ve been thinking about something I’ve seen on the net lately: the site owner commits to painting/drawing/sketching/sculpting one thing1 a day. One per day, forever.

Now, it’s nice to set goals and everything, but..do these people not have jobs? Sounds like a blast, sounds like something that could really make a difference in skill and ability over the long haul. But don’t they have kids? responsibilities? What have they got that I haven’t got?2
OK, I admit it sounds like fun. Ok I admit it sounds like something that would be beneficial to me. I could use the help. So that’s what I’ll do. One Digi-painting3 per day. From here on out.

Talk me out of this if this seems like insanity to you. I’m already starting to talk to myself.

  1. So are you really going to try this or are you just saying you’ll do it? If this sounds like I am throwing down the gauntlet, you are correct! I think committing to something is the only way it becomes a habit and what a great habit!
