Books you MUST have . Perspective Drawing . Photography
My illustration makes the cover of Advanced Photoshop Magazine.
And, with my high-fiber low-sodium 6-page matte painting tutorial inside.
This was a fun project to do, and I’m so thankful for Emma Cake and her staff over there in Great Britain for their willingness to just let me do my thing. It was something of a learning curve because the file ended up being enormous and slowed my computer to a crawl — probably took 10 times longer than it should have, but we still hit the deadline with a week to spare. The issue hits the stands March 1, so run out and grab 20 copies.

Thanks, palooza and Marianne and Thomas and anim_ziggy. A new issue just came out with yet another tutorial of mine, erroneously titled “Fantasy Lighting”, but whatever. I hope you’ll get it and tell me what you think — I felt very rushed through it and I think it shows in the final product.
Palooza if you poke around the net you’ll find electronic versions of AVP for free download, including the tutorials. Good luck!
