Matte Painting: APM Cover & Tutorial

I know, it’s old. Remember, I’m trying to slowly resurrect my website after a complete hack n’ sack of the previous site. I created the image for an Advanced Photoshop Magazine matte painting tutorial (my first) a while back. It made the cover of the issue, and I was very grateful for the boost! Hope you (still) like it as it represents a big milestone for me.

The sketch above is what I submitted for the concept which sold the job and next to that is the final magazine cover, which APM created and which I think turned out really well. It was fun to see it on the stand at Barnes and Noble:) Oh yeah, and here’s the magazine cover in Dutch. Who knew I’d be published in the Netherlands?!
