Here is an ocean/sky thing which I made from lots of photos and some original painting.

The hardest part was just getting a decent composition out of such random cloud photos and forcing them to cooperate with one another. Clouds can give one such fastidio. This was a good exercise to grade image quality and see how far I can stretch image resolution before it doesn’t work anymore. It’s also a good exercise to see how far I can be stretched before I don’t work anymore.

Here’s another. I replaced the background of a great image photographed by my bro Chuck Uibel at the Great Salt Lake, and painted in a cityscape using Photoshop CS2. Hats off to Dylan Cole and the crew of Adapt2006.
